1 Port BroadsideIf you’ve been thinking this is finally the season to start your Puget Sound sailing adventures, we’ve got a great boat for you!

“Jules” is a very well regarded Newport sloop, a Gary Mull design from Capital Yachts of California.  The 30-3 model is easily sailed by a couple over the weekend, or single handed, too.  Sleeps five in her large and comfortable interior using the private forward cabin berth, dining settee double berth and the large aft quarter berth.  The deep blue cushions and mahogany cabinetry are all in excellent condition.  Routine mechanical maintenance and service has been performed as needed, with lots of upgrades and nice additions including cabin heater and refrigeration.

She’s in very good condition and has been well cared for by her previous owners.  This Newport 30’ MK III also has the reliable four cylinder Universal diesel with low hours to get you home when needed.  We ran her up to Seattle from Olympia in early April, planned correctly for the tides and were making 11.2 kts under the Tacoma Narrows bridge!  Normally cruises comfortably at 6.5 kts and 2500 rpm.

Very safe deck layout with all running rigging led to cockpit jam cleats.  We’ve just gotten her cleaned well inside and out, plus there’s a lot of useful ‘boat stuff’ and spares onboard to get you started out right … right now.

A great boat for the price.  Come take a look soon… sunshine is finally here …  !!
