Stbd. Bow

Built to the Kong and Halvorsen Marine standards of high quality and durability. This “salty trawler style design” Island Gypsy is in very good condition. The simple and attractive layout is perfect for a couple or a small family.

Dependable six cylinder Lehman diesel with 600 hours, will cruise at 7+ kts on just two gallons per hour.

She got new bottom paint and zincs in April. We’ve had our crew busy since Labor Day on this boat and the recent exterior work over the past four weeks includes: complete strip and all new varnish on transom, hand rails, cap rail, salon door, pulpit, flybridge benches and all of the exterior teak trim.  The window frames were stripped, filled, faired, primed and repainted. And, the house, topsides and bulwarks were scrubbed, compound cleaned and waxed – she looks terrific! – just in time for fall boating season in this great October weather we’ve been having!

If you’re looking for a sparkling, simple and economical diesel trawler with fiberglass hull and … ALL… of the deferred cosmetic work already done for you, then this is the boat to see this week.

Please call Jim Roundtree at 253.332.5813 to inspect this boat in Ballard.  After all of the recent work we’ve done on her, you don’t want to miss this one.
