REDUCED by $5,000.
A highly desirable and beautiful cutter designed by Robert Perry, built to top quality standards and delivered to her original owners in Marina del Rey, CA., August 1977. This is hull #80 of about six hundred 37’ Tayana models built, and you’ll find these fine yachts all over the world. Very strong fiberglass full keel design, sea-kindly and provides maximum safety offshore.
Her spacious interior features the craftsmen’s joinery for which these boats are well known. There is a quarter berth, pull-out stbd. settee double berth, convertible salon table for a double, and the full sized vee berth forward. Lots of room for friends and family. The Sigmar diesel furnace keeps her cozy inside and her oil lamps add atmosphere to your evenings aboard.
We’ve spent about four hundred hours this summer on a full exterior restoration; sanding, scraping, prep, paint, varnish, polishing, topped off with a full new application of nonskid decking … all that work nobody likes to do, but looks so great when it’s all done! Also cleaned up interior wiring and panels, replaced some pumps, floats and other small plumbing issues – she checks out fully operational now.
If you’ve admired these distinctive cutters when you’ve been on the docks in Seattle, or Roche Harbor and beyond, imagine how thrilled you’ll be to own one … at last.
