A comfortable interior design and good sailing characteristics are the hallmark of this William Tripp design for Seafarer Yachts.
The 31′ MK-I yawl was first built in 1968 and production continued until 1974. With accommodations for four adults in the vee berth and convertible salon, the 31′ Seafarer makes a great weekender.
She has a propane cabin heater and two-burner galley stove, ample stowage for your gear and a reliable Volvo MD diesel to get you to back to your moorage after a day on the lake, or out in the Sound.
Her modified full keel and rudder skeg design provides a solid, stable motion when sailing and her sails are easily handled on deck, including a roller furling jib.
There’s a good inventory of engine spares, extra canvas for Bimini, useable gear, galley wares and safety equipment aboard. She’d make a fine first boat for a novice sailor or a couple wanting to explore the Northwest waters.
