Our Foundation offers other nonprofit groups a way to utilize the benefit of gifts made to us. By concentrating our efforts in this way, and by continuing to broaden our network of generous individuals like you, we provide a level of financial assistance that would have been unavailable to these organizations.

If you know of a program for kids or young adults that could benefit from the assistance the Pacific Marine Foundation can provide, ask them to E-mail us for grant guidelines. We are always looking for ways to expand our impact.

While Pacific Marine Foundation receives many generous donations from individuals, we can also receive the following types of donations, which also provide maximum tax benefits for the donor:

Donations from Private Foundations
Pacific Marine Foundation is fully qualified by the IRS as a public charity, and as such, can receive grants from private foundations. A grant to PMF can help us with our support of local youth programs while satisfying distribution requirements for the donor foundation.

Securities Donations
While cash donations are appreciated, Pacific Marine Foundation can also accept gifts of publicly traded securities. A donor can deduct the fair market value of the security as of the date of donation and against other income. There are some limitations on this, so we always recommend consultation with a professional tax advisor.
