This Ericson Model II has been stripped to the bare essentials for her two previous TransPac races. Photos show the interior has been altered and most of the excessive weight removed from cabinetry and built-in woodwork. The interior has been painted and is clean and functional. There is no head, hot water nor holding tank.
There are a total of seven sail bags and two spinnaker/whisker poles. She has a mid-nineties Yanmar 2GM cylinder diesel mounted in the mid-salon for best weight distribution. Newer stainless fuel tank.

Our crew spent more than 16 weeks and a couple thousand man-hours taking her exterior down to wood, making cosmetic repairs and prepping “Crystal Sea” for a full professional refinishing. This unusual cutter rigged sloop underwent a complete rebuild between 2009 – 2012. New fiberglass over wood deck was installed and the house was redesigned and rebuilt with custom aluminum framed heavy weather double windows. She has all new fresh water and waste plumbing, almost all new rewiring, new lighting, new electric panels, new ‘teak and holly’ sole and a beautifully panelled main salon.
This popular 34′ C&C model with fin keel just got new bottom paint, hull wax and topsides paint in May. She looks terrific! She has a 1998 replacement Yanmar 3GM 30 diesel in very good condition with only 670 hours.
