41' Chriscraft

41′ Chriscraft

An authentic 41′ Chris Connie …  still in her beautiful original condition … a time capsule of the legendary ChrisCraft builders at their best.  Same wall coverings, same faucet hardware, same lighting fixtures as the day she came out of the boat shed in Michigan nearly 46 years ago.

This beauty is a very well preserved, fully functional, well-maintained classic for those seeking the warmth and richness of a wood boat.  Owned in Seattle since 1973 by the same family and moored  under cover on Lake Washington all of those years … and now she can be yours.

Extensive replanking and fastening completed just last year by one of Seattle’s most reputable  yards, at a cost nearly double what we’re asking today.

Recent hull work

Vanden III had more than $70,000 in repairs completed in early spring 2012 at the Jensen Motorboat Company yard in Seattle.

Following inspection and survey; selected frames were strengthened, suspect hull planking was replaced, sections of the keel timber and shaft log were rebuilt and the hull was refastened as needed.  Cap rails and decking were inspected and replaced as needed.  Shafts were sent out to be trued, new shaft and rudder packing glands were installed.  Wheels trued and polished. The hull and bottom were prepped and repainted along with some repainting to decks and house.

In other words; any concerns you might have about a wood boat have just been addressed by the pros – and now she’s got another 40 years in her!
